EPDM is a flexible synthetic-rubber waterproofing membrane used on flat and low-slope roofs. The finished system also relies on the correct adhesive, roof edges, outlets and penetration details.
Should I choose 1.20mm or 1.52mm EPDM?+
Choose the thickness required by the project specification and intended roof use. Forti Nova lists both 1.20mm and 1.52mm FlexiProof options; confirm the selected product before ordering.
One-piece or fleece-backed membrane?+
One-piece membrane minimises field seams where a suitable sheet can be handled safely. Fleece-backed EPDM is a different construction suited to compatible refurbishment and reinforced applications.
What else is needed with the membrane?+
Most roofs also require compatible deck and contact adhesive, perimeter trims, primer, tapes, outlets and installation tools selected for the actual roof design.
